Who we are?

The MSSP Youth Foundation (Malta) brings together the various youth ministries and initiatives of the Missionary Society of St. Paul (MSSP) in Malta. Its work spans different stages of a young person’s journey, including the chaplaincy and formation ministry at St Paul’s Missionary College in Rabat, the ongoing engagement with the College’s Old Boys community, MSSP Oratory Youth based at the Oratory in Birkirkara, and the Foundation’s youth hub at Dar De Piro in Santa Venera. As part of an international missionary congregation, the Foundation also promotes opportunities that foster missionary awareness, service, and solidarity both locally and abroad.

The Foundation’s mission is to accompany young people in their personal, relational, spiritual, and psychological growth. We are committed to creating welcoming communities and environments where young people feel known, valued, and challenged to grow. Through formation, mentoring, outreach, and shared experiences, we seek to help each person discover purpose, deepen their faith, and discern how they are called to contribute to the world around them.

We believe that authentic growth happens in relationships. For this reason, we seek to build communities and small groups where young people can continue growing together. These may emerge naturally through our programmes or develop within existing communities such as school classes, youth groups, or volunteer teams. We are committed to creating inclusive spaces that welcome people of different backgrounds, cultures, abilities, and life experiences.

Working in collaboration with schools, parishes, Church entities, voluntary organisations, and local and international partners, we provide opportunities for leadership, volunteering, missionary experiences, and community engagement. Through these initiatives, we encourage young people to become compassionate, responsible, and active members of society, aware of both local and global realities, and equipped to make a meaningful difference wherever they are called to serve.
